When you get to the end and your anticipating some monumental explanation and intricate reveal of how such a thing can happen, the old dude in charge of C-Conciousness is like, yeah we accidentally gave you the order to kill your own self, don't know how that happened, but we're looking into it so anyhoo, would you like to join C-Conciousness? pricelessĪnyway, the farther you go north, the better the combat and weapons. Here is actually where the game story gets weak. The nice folks over at C-Conciousness wanted you dead (you'd already figured them out once and they knew you would come back to destroy them) but for all of their great brain powers they blunderingly, inexplicably give you the job of killing Strelok (thats you). Towards the end of the game, you are given many choices that will end the game prematurely. You start the game falling off a death wagon and don't find out how you got there till the end. It's a story in reverse would be my best description. Just gives you tidbits and teases here and there in the form of visions and info from NPC's. The game leaves it to your imagination as to what the heck could be going on. Guess thats what makes the world go round.
